About Us

A Different Kind of Church

We value members, children and friends at the center of our religious community. We celebrate diversity in beliefs, abilities, race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation and economic situation. Unlike most religious organizations, Unitarian Universalists do not advocate one fixed set of beliefs about God or life before or after death although as individuals we may have such beliefs.

Instead, we are united by our seven principles and the conviction that it is what we do and how we live our lives that matters most. Learn more about Unitarian Universalism by watching this video “Voices of a Liberal Faith”. We are about community and helping make the world we live in the best it can be.

We are a welcoming congregation and a green sanctuary*

*Welcoming congregations have completed a study program and voted to be fully inclusive of gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered people. Learn about this Unitarian Universalist program at http://www.uua.org/leaders/leaderslibrary/welcomingcongregation/index.shtml
