Affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) 1961

The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) represents the interests of more than one thousand Unitarian Universalist congregations, on a continental scale. The UUA grew out of the consolidation, in 1961, of two religious denominations: the Universalists, organized in 1793, and the Unitarians, organized in 1825. The UUA provides resources and offers consultations to local congregations, creates religious education curricula, spurs social action efforts, expedites the settlement of professional religious leaders, supports Beacon Press, and produces pamphlets, devotional material, and the bimonthly journal, The World. The UUA works in concert with many organizations to provide a wide range of services.

Unitarian Universalist Association

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee is the major social justice advocacy organization for Unitarian Universalists.

The Ballou Channing District is a district within the UUA. It includes churches in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The UUFF is an active member.

Cape & Islands Unitarian Universalists website shows locations of each Cape and Islands UU congregation on a map.

The UU Ministry for Earth, formerly known as The Seventh Principle Project, is an affiliate of the UUA that works for environmental protection and sponsors the Green Sanctuary Program. The UUA affirms seven principles, the seventh of which is "respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part". Web pages for the Seventh Principle Project and Green Sanctuary Program have moved; when we hear from the UUA about new links we will post them here.

The Society for Community Ministries (formerly Society for the Larger Ministry) is the organization for community ministers.

The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) is an independent affiliate of the UUA.

Other UU churches on Cape Cod and the Islands are:
