Religious Education

Lifespan Education

To foster in all ages a free and independent search for truth and meaning . . . and to learn to live our principles.

Our pre school and school-age programs provide a liberal education that explores the world’s major religious beliefs, instills social and personal responsibility, encourages respect and reverence for all life, and creates a basis for life-long religious growth and learning. We value our children as part of a loving community where children feel safe, respected, and accepted.

Our program for adults ranges widely to address members’ and friends’ interests and take advantage of the availability of good teachers andspeakers. Programs are often on issues ofconcern to our Green Sanctuary and Social Action committees. Once a month, usually the third Wednesday, there’s a potluck supper at 6 pm followed by a movie and discussion. Rides are available for members and friends who don’t want to drive at night.

Sunday School

Mission Statement

Our program provides a liberal education that explores diverse religious beliefs, instills social and personal responsibility, encourages respect and reverence for all life, and creates a basis for life-long religious growth and learning. We value our children as part of a loving community, through worship, ritual, and celebration, in an environment where children feel safe, respected, and accepted. We offer the tools for a journey toward discovery of personal, meaningful religious beliefs and values.
